Dolly’s retreat experience was truly transformative for myself and my partner. I had worked with Dolly previously via zoom and knew her knowledge of embodied sexuality was impressive, but working with her in person allowed for literal hands-on learning of embodiment skills with each other. My partner and I have been in a healing space for the last year, and while Dolly’s awareness of our unique situation allowed her to customize our retreat activities, it was her sharp intuition during our time together that allowed for deeper attunement to our needs as a couple and make adjustments in the moment as needed.

What transpired was a remarkably beautiful and deeply healing experience as we participated in various exercises that allowed my partner and me to connect and tune in to each other in an amazingly present and focused manner. I had a sense of time standing still on several occasions throughout the weekend as I was completely immersed in both the activity and the connection to my partner.

Not only is Dolly a consummate professional in every way, she held a safe, completely non-judgmental container for our work and was able to articulate the deeper psychology of eroticism and attachment in a way that afforded myriad “aha” and “yes!” moments. I felt seen, heard, and understood by Dolly and fully free to express myself emotionally and somatically due to the safe space she masterfully created, and I believe my partner felt the same way.

The schedule was designed to maximize both our time with Dolly and our intimate time together to rest, integrate, nourish ourselves and explore the city on our own time. We left Nashville feeling renewed and expansive, excited to continue our erotic journey and feeling more deeply in love and connected. My partner and I will continue to work with Dolly via zoom and hope to return for another retreat in the future, since eroticism and intimacy is ever-changing and evolving like any other aspect of being human.
